Prepare to attend and make your voice heard! As posted in the actions for the bill, HB 1433 is scheduled for committee hearing on Thursday, February 9th at 2:30 p.m. It will be in the Peace Garden room of the capitol in Bismarck ND.

Every person counts when it comes to showing your support for a bill that matters to you. Even if you have never done it before, please seriously consider testifying before the committee and sharing your story of why you support HB 1433. The legislators are real people, and appreciate hearing honest reasons and facts behind why you support the bill.

When attending, keep the occasion professional, dress nicely, and be respectful. A formal dialogue keeps the committee chairman in charge of the proceedings. Listen to the flow, and you’ll catch it easily.

The committee chairman keeps the meeting moving. Both the supporters and opposition of the bill take turns testifying and answering questions.
